Bureau (Mercer). Note: Moves covered by the

-
The Pass Bureau
(Mercer) issues a FFO number and sends the request by
fax to the CN Customer Support Centre (CSC).
- Employees call the
CSC at 1-866-9CN-RAIL (1-866-926-7245) to order their boxcar
and get any other assistance related to the move.
Note: If the CSC does not have the FFO number, they
will contact the Pass Bureau to find out if a request is
being processed.
-
Employees crate
their household effects (minimum of 10,000 pounds
excluding car, i.e. about five rooms), transport them
to/ from the railway siding and place/remove them
in/from the boxcar, all at their own expense (containers
are not arranged or paid by CN).
-
Employees should
purchase insurance if they wish to insure the goods
being transported, as they are not insured.
CN is not responsible for loss or damage.

for pensioners and surviving spouses of eligible
employees/pensioners:
CN pensioners and
surviving spouses of eligible employees/pensioners are entitled
to two permanent moves during their combined lifetime (FFO's
