Your Pension

For all pensioners receiving their pension cheques through the mail:

Due to the potential for a Canadian postal strike, possibly as soon as May 22, 2025, CN has advised there will be no mail or courier delivery of pension cheques until such time as that potential strike is resolved. As per CN's advice in a letter that accompanied your November, 2024 pension cheque, their offer of an alternate delivery by courier was limited to the months thought to be impacted by the original strike (Nov, Dec & Jan)

There is now a second letter coming to each of you, in the mail, advising that no courier arrangements will be provided this time, and all pension cheques will be retained, and then mailed out after the strike is resolved.

Both letters (available below) included instructions and advice on how to sign up for a direct deposit alternative for these cheques, through CN Pension and Benefits at 1-800-361-0739.
