The CN Pensioners Association helps members with all matters related to their pension, with a dedicated pension committee leading the way. Your Pension For all pensioners receiving their pension cheques through the mail: Due to the potential for a Canadian postal strike, possibly as soon as May 22, 2025, CN has advised there will be no mail or courier delivery of pension cheques until such time as that potential strike is resolved. As per CN's advice in a letter that accompanied your November, 2024 pension cheque, their offer of an alternate delivery by courier was limited to the months thought to be impacted by the original strike (Nov, Dec & Jan) There is now a second letter coming to each of you, in the mail, advising that no courier arrangements will be provided this time, and all pension cheques will be retained, and then mailed out after the strike is resolved. Both letters (available below) included instructions and advice on how to sign up for a direct deposit alternative for these cheques, through CN Pension and Benefits at 1-800-361-0739. The CNPA is excited to announce that, starting with the first 2026 edition (Spring) of our National Newsletter, we will be providing all our pensioners with an option to receive an electronic newsletter version instead of your current printed copy. We want to hear your feedback on this important project at our new email address e-newsletter@cnpensioners.org . You can also use this same email to subscribe to the E-Newsletter - just include your name and PIN in the email. Our newsletter is issued and mailed to you three times per year (Spring, Summer and Winter) as well as posted to our website. However, we do require your assistance. We are always on the lookout for stories of interest - and that's where you come in. If you have a story you would like to share, please email your story to your respective regional representative. Contact information for the regional newsletter reps can be found in our national newsletters. We ask that all submissions be sent in electronically as a Word document.
